Bills McGaugh Funeral Home Obituary Notice
Mrs. Lorene McKelvey Hopper, age 88 of Lewisburg, passed away on Tuesday, November 10, 2009 at NHC- Lewisburg.
A native of Maury County she was the daughter of the late Lorenzo Doro McKelvey and Jennie Dyer McKelvey, she was retired as a bank clerk and was a member of the Westvue Church of Christ.
Mrs. Hopper is preceded in death by her parents, her husband, Cyrus Melton Hopper in 2003, and a niece, Betty Ann Harrison.
Survivors include two nieces, Linda Lamb of Beverly Hills, FL and Edna Luna. One great niece, Carla Caldwell, six nephews, Billy Davis of Lewisburg, Don Davis of Lynnville, Gordon McKelvey of Gallatin, James Wade McKelvey, Larry McKelvey and Claude Morgan.
Visitation with the family will begin on Friday, November 13, 2009 from 10:00 AM until 12:00 PM at Bills McGaugh chapel.
Graveside services for Mrs. Hopper will be conducted on Friday, November 13, 2009 at 12:30 at Friendship Cemetery near Culleoka.
