Bills McGaugh Funeral Home Obituary Notice
Mrs. Lorraine Frances Portwood Prewitt , age 69, of Lewisburg, passed away on Monday, August 10, 2009 at NHC- Lewisburg.
A native of Liberty, Missouri she was the daughter of the late Helen Lorraine Compton and Frances Matthew Portwood. She was a retired hairdresser and a member of the Baptist church.
Her parents, a son, James Prewitt and a brother, Tommy Lee Portwood precede her in death.
Survivors include her loving husband of 42 years, Frank O. Prewitt of Lewisburg, one son, Terry (Jennifer) Pruitt of Lewisburg, one sister, Barbara Jane Durham of Kansas City, MO and one brother, Allen Portwood of Woodbury, TN.
Funeral services for Mrs. Prewitt will be conducted on Friday, August 14, 2009 at 2:00 PM from the chapel of Bills McGaugh Funeral Home with Anthony Blakely officiating. Visitation will begin on Thursday, August 13, 2009 from 5:00 PM until 8:00 PM. and 1 hour prior to the service.
