Mr. James Ricky Brogan, age 57 of Lewisburg, passed away on Friday, July 31, 2009 at his residence.
A native of Boise, Idaho he was the son of the late Loretta Baker Brogan and James L. Brogan. He was a former employee of Heil Quaker Corporation with 25 years of service, an employee of Goodman Corporation for the past 3 and a half years and was a member of the Baptist church.
His parents, a brother, Bobby Wilson, and a sister, Carolyn Brock precedes him in death.
Survivors include his loving wife of 28 years, Peggy Griffin Brogan of Lewisburg, two daughters, Kimberly (Richard) Culbertson and Karen Brogan of Lewisburg, one grand daughter Brittany Griffin of Lewisburg, one grandson Mikey Culbertson of Lewisburg, one brother, Charles Brockman of Marshall, Missouri, two sisters, Susie Ring of Lewisburg, and Linda Messer of Washington DC, One step- brother, Johnny Wilson and one step- sister, Jo Tatum also survive.
Funeral services for Mr. Brogan will be held on Sunday, August 2, 2009 at 11:00 AM from the chapel of Bills McGaugh Funeral Home with burial to follow in Elliot Cemetery in Chapel Hill. Brother Ralph Niamon will be officiating.
Visitation with the family will begin on Saturday, August 1, 2009 from 4:00 PM until 8:00 PM.
