Mrs. Rebecca Joan Reed, age 63 of Lewisburg, passed away on Wednesday, July 15, 2009 at her residence.
A native of Hickman County she was the daughter of Clarence Rochelle and the late Leona Cooper Rochelle. She was retired from Marshall Medical Center as the head of housekeeping with 20 years of service and was a member of the Baptist faith.
Her mother, a sister, Dell Lemons, a brother, David Rochelle and a daughter, Rebecca Leigh Reed Gilliam, precede Mrs. Reed in death.
Survivors include her loving husband of 43 years, Mr. Billy F. Reed of Lewisburg, one son, James Reed of Shelbyville, TN her father, Clarence Rochelle of Centerville, TN one sister, Martha Agular of White Bluff, TN two grand-daughters Lacey Ann Frost and Katherine Reed also survive.
A memorial service for Mrs. Reed will be conducted on Sunday, July 19, 2009 at 2: 00 PM with Larry Hastings officiating. Inurnment will take place in Sunset Park Cemetery. Visitation will be held one hour prior to the service.
