Bills McGaugh Funeral Home Obituary Notice
Mrs. Georgia E. Williams, age 89 of Petersburg, TN passed away on Tuesday, June 2, 2009 at Maury Regional Medical Center.
A native of Warren County , she was the daughter of Vernon Adamson and Minnie Irene Foster. She was retired from Genesco Corporation in Chapel Hill, and was a member of the Baptist Church.
Mrs. Williams is preceded in death by her parents, her first husband , Bob Keirsey, her second husband, James Williams (1999) and a brother, Edward Adamson.
Survivors include three sisters, Jean Allman of Petersburg, Mackon Grissom of Flintstone, GA, and Pauline Simpson of Tullahoma, three Brothers, James Medley of MS, Jessie Medley of MS, and Ufa Grey ( Shorty) Medley of Petersburg, TN.
Funeral services for Mrs. Williams will be conducted on Friday, June 5, 2009 at 10:00 AM from the chapel of Bills McGaugh Funeral Home with Tim McGeehee and Doug Brown officiating, burial to follow at Woodlawn Memorial Park in Nashville, TN. at 12:30 PM.
Visitation with the family will begin on Thursday, June 4, 2009 from 4:00 PM until 8:00 PM. at the funeral home.
