Bills McGaugh Funeral Home Obituary Notice
Mrs.Verena A. Walker, age 55, of Lewisburg, passed away on Saturday, May 30 2009 at Marshall Medical center.
A native of Orange County, Texas, she was the daughter of Nathaniel B. Ward and Yvone Alama. She was a homemaker and a member of the Parkview Baptist Church.
Mrs. Walker is preceded in death by her parents.
Survivors include Her Husband Kim Lee Walker of Lewisburg, six daughters;Michelle Hajj of California, Edna Milinkovich of California, Dorothy Milinkovich of Oregon, Frances Adams of Lewisburg, Billie McCoy of Lewisburg, Mindy Hill of Unionville. Three sons Samuel Milinkovich of California, Joseph Milinkovich of Alabama, Alan Ward of Lewisburg, two brothers; Nathaniel B. Ward Jr. of Pleasant View, TN, Robert Alama of Kentucky, two sisters; Nanda Alama- Fields of Kingsport, TN, Kahaw Alama of California. Twenty seven grandchildren also survive.
Funeral services for Mrs. Walker will be conducted on Monday, June 1, 2009 at 2:00 PM from the chapel of Bills McGaugh Funeral Home Burial will follow in Round Hill Cemetery in the Belfast Community with Winson Wagoner and Joseph Milinkovich officiating.Visitation with the family will begin on Sunday, May 31, 2009 from 3:00 PM until 8 :00 PM .
